[Access-ip] Non-Circ Books in Stacks

Cheryl -

We have some legacy non-circulating items intermingled with circulating 
items in the Sterling Memorial Library stacks.  The spine label either says 
"Non-Circ" above the call number or, more recently, a bright yellow 
"Non-Circulating" sticker was placed above the spine label.  They are also 
shown as "non-circulating" in the OPAC.

For the past decade or more, SML stacks items may no longer be designated 
non-circulating, with the exception of folios and pamphlets in boxes, all 
of which are non-circulating and none of which are marked as such.  They 
are all shown as "non-circulating" in the OPAC.

Selectors are asked to assign items they want to be non-circulating to 
locations/collections which are designated as such or to the Library 
Shelving Facility for retrieval to supervised reading areas.
