[Access-ip] Name disclosure policies (summary)

All,

Thanks so much for your responses to my question about name disclosure
policies. So far I've heard from Columbia, Harvard, Penn, Princeton,
Temple, UConn, and Yale. As I suspected, we seem to be alone in allowing
names to be revealed (unless our borrowers explicitly opt out). However,
Princeton allows users to "opt in" if they want to have their names
revealed, but no one has done so. Columbia also allows users at their Math
library to opt in.

Your information will be very helpful in my conversation with our Library
Board tomorrow.

Very gratefully,

David
