[Access-ip] 2008 ALA Emerging Leaders program

The Emerging Leaders program kicked off at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in
Seattle and ended at the 2007 Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. by
providing 116 new librarians with training and project management skills
to jump-start their leadership in ALA and the profession. New leaders
are expected to put their leadership skills to use by accepting a term
of service on an ALA or chapter committee, task force, working group, or
