Trevor, At Brown we finally did away with routine fines,
but at the very same time implemented a 50% hike in the
standard library material replacement charge (from $100 to $150).
Of that, we regard the item cost as $125 and
the processing fee as $25.

Subject: [Access-ip] Replacement Fee question
Greetings colleagues,
Would you be so kind as to let me know what amount you assess on
items reported lost or stolen? Please let me know the amount assessed
for replacement (varying amounts if some branches have different costs)
as well as the processing fee (if charged).
Thanks,
Trevor
