Hello All,
Please excuse the cross-posting.
We have a Roving Library Assistant program at NYU Bobst Library. The Rovers are student workers who patrol the library in the evening and on the weekends, providing assistance to patrons and enforcing policy. Primarily, they are helping to improve the "quality of life" for patrons of the library.
I am wondering if your library offers a similar program. If so, how do you make your assistants identifiable to patrons? Also, do you have a means of communicating with them while they are out in the library (e.g., Vocera, cell phones, or pagers)?
Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Sydney Thompson
