[CPSLibraries] Follett User Group Meetings

Representatives from Follett Software will be holding two days of user
group support meetings at the Medill Technical and Professional
Development Center on November 18 and 19. These meetings are for current
users who need help with their existing system and are not recommended
for librarians who are comfortable with their current Follett system.
The purpose of the meetings is not for sales-related discussions, as CPS
has selected another vendor for centralized library automation and is
working toward implementation (see related post).
The meetings will be from 9:00 until 11:00 and 12:00 to 2:00 both days.
Lunch will be from 11:00 to 12:00. Librarians will have the choice of
attending one 2-hour session or they can attend both sessions if they
would like.
November 18th will focus on customers using Circulation Plus/Catalog
Plus and Destiny and November 19th will be for those customers on
Athena, Spectrum and Infocentre. If a librarian cannot attend on the day
their solution is going to be discussed they are welcome to come on the
other day. A technical consultant will be available each day that is
familiar with the products.
