[CPSLibraries] Name That System! Results

Dear CPS Librarians,

 

The response to the contest to name the new Integrated Library System,
or centralized library automation system, has been overwhelming.  We
received 140 responses!  The Department of Libraries and Information
Services staff has narrowed down the entries to five possible names for
the new system:

 

ChiCat (for Chicago Catalog)

 

ChiLi:  Chicago Library

 

CLASSIC:  Centralized Library Automation System Synching in Chicago

 

SLIC:  School Library Integrated Circulation

 

SOAR:  Seeking Online Access to Resources

 

Now it's your turn to vote!  Vote for your favorite name for the new
Integrated Library System at the October LLC meetings. Register here for

The author of the selected name will receive $500 in books for their
