Transform the School Library into a Learning Commons

If digital natives just Google around the library and classroom teachers
stay locked in their classrooms preparing learners to take tests, is
there a need for a library? Invite teacher librarians, teachers, and
administrators to this free webinar conducted by David Loertscher and
Carol Koechlin as they explore the total transformation of the school
library and computer lab into a learning commons both as a virtual and a
physical space. Using 180 degree thinking, they will challenge the
profession to go client-side to capture the hearts and minds of the
digital natives and drive towards excellence in education. (5:30pm
Pacific; 8:30pm Eastern)
